Do i need to wear sunscreen while tanning at an indoor tanning salon?

I was in an indoor tanning salon and some parts of my body got sunburned although the UV rays were at a 2% ( much less than the actual sun rays)Do i need to wear sunscreen while tanning at an indoor tanning salon?
No you don't need to wear sunscreen. You just need to wear sun tan lotion to help your tan. You should talk to one of the employees to help you decide on what lotion would work best with your skin type. You probably stayed in the tanning bed too long which is why you burned. They say if you start to feel really hot you should get out right away because that is a sign that you are going to burn. The length of time you should stay in a tanning bed also depends on your skin type as well so you should discuss that with the salon.
